Irrfan Khan and Parvathy starrer film, Qarib Qarib Singlle, started its box office journey with a low collection. The film faced a stiff competition from the successfully running holdover releases and new releases. After earning a low opening day collection, the film showed good growth on Saturday and Sunday to take its first weekend collection to a decent number.
Normally, low budget films start its journey with the low collection but show a good number on the remaining days of their lifetime. Various low budget films namely Hindi Medium, Bareilly Ki Barfi, and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan have shown this trending. The same behaviour is expected to be shown by this film also.

Rajkummar Rao starrer Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana started with an unexpectedly low number but showed growth on the remaining two days of the first weekend. The film showed more growth then Qarib Qarib Singlle but still failed Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana first weekend collection is a low number.
