This Friday two low budget releases, Qarib Qarib Singlle and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana released at the box office. Both the films started their box office journey with a low collection. But if we look at the box office record of low budget films, then these type of films usually open with the low collection but show a good collection later on. Let’s have a look at Qarib Qarib Singlle First Weekend Collection and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana performance in the first weekend.

Qarib Qarib Singlle First Weekend Collection

Irrfan Khan and Parvathy starrer film, Qarib Qarib Singlle, started its box office journey with a low collection. The film faced a stiff competition from the successfully running holdover releases and new releases. After earning a low opening day collection, the film showed good growth on Saturday and Sunday to take its first weekend collection to a decent number.

Normally, low budget films start its journey with the low collection but show a good number on the remaining days of their lifetime. Various low budget films namely Hindi Medium, Bareilly Ki Barfi, and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan have shown this trending. The same behaviour is expected to be shown by this film also.

  • Friday – Rs. 1.75 crores
  • Saturday – Rs. 3.05 crores
  • Sunday – 3.40 crores

Total – Rs. 7.80 crores

Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana First Weekend Collection

Rajkummar Rao starrer Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana started with an unexpectedly low number but showed growth on the remaining two days of the first weekend. The film showed more growth then Qarib Qarib Singlle but still failed Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana first weekend collection is a low number.

Here is the first weekend collection of the film:

  • Friday – Rs. 0.70 crores
  • Saturday – Rs. 1.40crores
  • Sunday – Rs. 1.70 crores

Total – Rs. 3.80 crores

Qarib Qarib Singlle is expected to show good collection on the weekdays and the other film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana needs to fight a big battle to survive at the box office. We will update you on box office collection of both the films and for other Bollywood news, keep ready BOTY.
