Race 3 is on the verge of completion of its run at the box office. The film started its journey in the theatres on a solid note and did a wonderful business over the first weekend. However, as the effect of Eid got over, it started declining on the weekdays. It didn’t manage to recover afterward and earned in an ordinary fashion. No one expected from the film to fall in such a way as it is a franchise film and stars popular actors of Bollywood. Race 3 2nd week collection is expected to stand at the number 5 among 2018 films in terms of its earning in the second week.
Worldwide Collection Stands at Number 2
Salman Khan starrer film has grossed over Rs. 280 crores all over the world and crossed the worldwide earning of this year’s earlier release, Baaghi 2. It stands at number 2 spot amongst the films released in 2018 so far. The performance of the film remained similar to that of its domestic collection and it failed to show its magic after the first few days. Race 3 has earned maximum earning in the Gulf region which has played a great role in raising its worldwide earning.
2nd Week Collection Early Estimates
Race 3 2nd week collection would be over Rs. 170 crores. But this is not what it was expected to achieve. In fact, Race 3 should have earned this much amount of money in the first week only. Now it seems difficult for the action film to cross Rs. 200 crores in its lifetime. Since the much-awaited film, Sanju is hitting theatres this Friday so Race 3 would get fewer screens and would experience a big fall in its earning at the box office. Carry On Jatta 2 Earns Great Amount
Carry On Jatta 2 has grossed the highest amount of money among all Punjabi films as it has earned over Rs. 40 crores gross amount in the theatres. The net earnings of the comedy film have surpassed the mark of Rs. 30 crores. It has become the first Punjabi film to earn over Rs. 50 crores worldwide till now, which is expected to grow in the coming days.
