Race 3 has experienced a variation in its collection on the weekdays. Over the first weekend, it collected an excellent earning and crossed Rs. 100 crores at the box office. Post-Monday, the entire equation got changed and the film witnessed a fall in its earning. Race 3 first week collection would get affected due to this performance of the film and one can easily think of the reason behind this variation.

Reason for Low Weekdays for Race 3

When Race 3 arrived in the theatres, there was a lot of craze among the audience also it got a solo release on 15th June 2018. The Eid festival and Salman Khan power helped the movie to earn an excellent amount in its just three days. But as soon as the effect of Eid gets over, the entire equation got changed on the weekdays. Race 3 witnessed more downfall on Tuesday than expected and it was because of the poor appreciation of the film by the audience. And hence, it failed to maintain its momentum on the weekdays. Here is the day-wise box office earning of Race 3:

  • Friday – Rs. 29.17 crores
  • Saturday – Rs. 38.14 crores
  • Sunday – Rs. 39.16 crores
  • Monday – Rs. 14.24 crores
  • Tuesday – Rs. 9.83 crores
  • Wednesday – Rs. 8.36 crores
  • Total – Rs. 138.90 crores

7th Day Collection Early Estimates

Race 3 7th day earning is expected to be in the same range as Wednesday. It would witness a drop of around 8-10% from its 6th day and earn near Rs. 7.50 crores on Thursday. This would take Race 3 first week collection near Rs. 145 crores at the box office. The coming Friday would tell where the film would stand in its lifetime. If it manages to perform well on the second Friday, we can expect an excellent earning in the week 2. More updates about the film will be made available soon.
