Kaabil had a good extended weekend at the box office. We all know it did not start so well facing tough competition from Raees, but it has managed to show very small drops and decent jumps throughout the weekend. Kaabil’s 5th day (Sunday) Collections are Rs. 15.05 crores net. This is an excellent figure and the total of Kaabil for the First 5 days is:
- Wednesday – Rs. 10.43 cr
- Thursday – Rs. 18.67 cr
- Friday – Rs. 9.77 cr
- Saturday – Rs. 13.34 cr
- Sunday – Rs. 15.05 cr
- Total – Rs. 67.46 cr
This is a great total and as you can see the film has shown very positive trending and is all set for a decent run on the weekdays. Both these movies have an empty week ahead as only real competition comes on 10th Feb when Jolly LLB 2 releases.
Now lets talk about Raees, which is quickly becoming one of the best performing SRK movie in recent times. The trending for Raees is also positive but the drops are bigger considering the film started so well. Here are the first 5 Days collections for Raees.
- Wednesday – Rs. 20.42 cr
- Thursday – Rs. 26.30 cr
- Friday – Rs. 13.11 cr
- Saturday – Rs. 15.16 cr
- Sunday – Rs. 17.25 cr
- Total – Rs. 92.69 cr
Raees is less very likely to cross the 100 crores mark today on its 6th day. ANd it will be interesting to see whether Raees or Kaabil will lead on the weekdays. Because the gap between Raees and Kaabil’s daily collections has come down to just 2 crores as compared to 10 crores on the first day.
