This year many low budget films released at the box office and managed to entertain the audience to the fullest. The spree began with Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium. Despite being a low-budget film, it had performed exceptionally well and collected a handsome amount of money during its lifetime. Next, comes Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Bareilly KI barfi, and are performing well as compared to other big budget films. The films managed to attract a good number of footfalls to the theaters.
Shubh Mangal Saavdhan Box Office Journey
Shubh Mangal Saavdhan released along with Baadshaho on the last Friday and also faced competition from smooth sailing Bareilly Ki Barfi. Despite facing a stiff competition from other films, the film because of its unique concept managed to attract a good number of footfalls to the theater and hence made good collection during its first week.
On entering its second week, the film remained flawless and is performing brilliantly. The director is so much impressed by the film’s performance that he has announced the making of its sequel soon. The audience is appreciating the performance of Ayushmann Khurranna and Bhumi Pednekar.
