One of the biggest hits of Dharma Productions, Student Of The Year was released in the year 2012. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan & Siddharth Malhotra altogether made their debut in acting with this film. In the very beginning of their career, the trio achieved fame, success & love of the audience.

Student Of The Year was the most loved movie of that year, especially by the youths. Director & Producer, Karan Johar made sure that the content of the film must reflect the lifestyle & the mindset of the new generation. Keeping this in mind, he approached three newcomers to play the lead characters in the movie & portrayed a beautiful campus love story.

Student Of The Year 2 to be released on 23 November

Though the climax of this film doesn’t reveal anything regarding its second part, the makers still decided to make a sequel to this. While Student Of The Year was directed & produced by Karan Johar, this time, Karan Johar handed over this project to Punit Malhotra who last directed I Hate Luv Story & Gori Tere Pyar Mein. Recently, Johar released a new poster of the film twitting that the upcoming film Student Of The Year 2 is scheduled to be released on 23rd of November this year.

Female lead yet to be disclosed

While Tiger Shroff has been finalized for the male lead, the female lead is still a mystery. According to some sources, the filmmakers have decided to feature two female leads to increase the drama & to make it different from the first film. In the original one, there were two male leads & a female lead. Also, the producer & the director announced that they will disclose the actress’s name in the next month. Let’s wait till the makers announce the name of the actress & keep guessing.
