Baaghi 2, the much-awaited movie of Tiger Shroff released today at the box office. The trailer for the film has already created a lot of hype before its release. It is a sequel to the hit film, Baaghi and fills with full-on action. Baaghi 2 First day collection is going to be excellent amount. Advance Booking Reports
Baaghi 2 advance booking started on Sunday and the film gets 12-18% of the audience before its release. Also, there is a holiday of Good Friday so it would definitely receive a solid response on its opening day. Since no other big film is hitting the theaters today so there will not be a big competition for Baaghi 2.
Tiger Shroff Openings
- Heropanti – Rs. 6.51 crores
- Baaghi – Rs. 11.94 crores
- A Flying Jatt – Rs. 7.10 crores
- Munna Michael – Rs. 6.65 crores
Tiger Shroff made his debut with the successful film, Heropanti. After this, he starred in Baaghi which earned an excellent amount at the box office and made him popular as an action hero. His next two films, A flying Jatt and Munna Michael could not get a positive response and collected poorly.
First Day Collection Early Estimates
Tiger Shroff has always received a positive response to his action and dance in his films. Although Tiger’s last two films, A Flying Jatt and Munna Micheal could not perform well at the box office, this would not have an effect on Baaghi 2. Since Baaghi 2 is a sequel to a successful film Baaghi so it would easily surpass the opening of the latter. Also, there is a holiday factor associated with Baaghi 2, which would benefit it for sure.
According to the early morning reports, Baaghi 2 has opened strongly and would gain more momentum as the day progresses. Baaghi 2 first day collection would easily cross the mark of Rs. 15 crores and if all goes well for the film then this amount would rise rapidly. Update: Earlier, it looks like Baaghi 2 would land between Rs. 15-20 crores. But the afternoon and evening shows took a bigger jump than expected. Baaghi 2 earned Rs. 25.10 crores on its first day and surprised everyone with its outstanding performance. Hence, the film becomes the highest opener of 2018 till now. In the overseas also, it performed well and collected better than other Hindi films.
All that one could say about the film is that, if you are an action lover, and that too ala Tiger style, then you can go for it and which is the reason for such a good opening.
