Golmaal Again Vs Chennai Express

Both the films are directed by the director Rohit Shetty and both of them are very good masala entertainer. Chennai Express is a comedy-drama whereas Golmaal Again is a combination of comedy and horror element.

Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express was released in the year 2013 and performed very well at the box office. It performed exceptionally well from the opening day and Its first-weekend collection crossed Rs 100 crore mark. The songs of the film were highly lauded by the listeners and were a major hit.

Chennai Express is a story of Rahul and Meenamma’s love story and the difficulties they had to face to unite with each other. It is filled with numerous events of comedy and adventure which is why it did good business at the box office.

Golmaal Again is the fourth film of a successful Golmaal franchise and started its box office journey on a solid note. The film crossed a mark of Rs. 87 crores in the first weekend, and it has become the second film of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn together after Singham Returns, which has crossed a mark of Rs. 30 crores on an opening day.
