Jab Harry Met Sejal Monday Collection dropped by a huge 55% from Friday. This was supposed to happen considering the kind of business the film did on the weekend. When weekend growth has so limited the drops on Weekdays are going to be nothing but higher.
Monday Collection
The film scored a very poor 6.85 crore net. This is indeed disappointing considering the hopes people had for this film. The overseas collection which is about to touch $10 Million is the only hope to help the film recover its investment.
Tuesday Collection
The drops on the next day were even higher as the holiday of Rakhshabandhan was gone. Tuesday Collection as per early estimates is going be Rs. 5.5 crore net. Let’s take a look at total day-wise collection till now:
- Friday = Rs. 15.25 crores
- Saturday = Rs. 15 crores
- Sunday = Rs. 15.5 crores
- Monday = Rs. 6.85 crores
- Tuesday = Rs. 5.5 crores (Estimates)
Total = Rs. 58.1 crores net

Cause for JHMS Poor show
This is a decent figure had it been any other film. But let’s not over-exaggerate on how poorly the film is doing. Let’s see why did this movie become a blunder. More Importantly, let us see who is to be blamed for the failure of JHMS. We feel there are 3 reasons for the movie’s poor reviews.
- Too Much experimentation with the concept.
- Wrong Choice of Cast
- The movie depicted a culture, Indian audiences couldn’t connect with.

The film has 2 more days to put up any significant figure at the box office. Considering how poorly the film is doing, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is going to put up really huge figures at the box office, especially during the Independence day weekend.
