Sridevi starrer Mom, released last week with positive reviews from the critics. In the past week, the film showed unusual trending in its collections. It received 1806 screens in its first week and it performed very differently as compared to other films. The film collections showed ups and downs which are usually not the case. In the first week, the film managed to collect Rs. 23.80 crores.

In its second week, Mom retains 700 screens and is expected to perform well at the box office. Also, another release of the week, Jagga Jasoos, received mixed reviews from the critics so this will give some sort of advantage to Mom, which is performing in a very stable manner. On its second Friday, the film gets a slow start but on Saturday, the film shows a jump. On Sunday, it is expected to take big collections at the box office. Although, the film faces a competition from the Hollywood releases like War for the planet of apes and release from last week Spiderman: Homecoming.

Second-Weekend Collections:

Mom’s collections in the second weekend are as follows:

  • Friday: Rs. 1.06 crores
  • Saturday: Rs. 2.21 crores
  • Sunday: Rs. 2.74 crores

Total = Rs. 6.01 crores

It will be interesting to see whether the film will be able to repeat similar performance in the second week. For more updates, keep visiting BOTY.
