Synopsis

Thakur Bhanupratap Singh is a powerful and respected man in his village. He has 3 sons out of whom, the youngest one, Heera, is treated as a servant in the family. Despite the indifferent behavior of his father, Heera always respects him and obeys all his orders. Due to certain circumstances, he is shunned by all in the family. Then he meets Radha who, understanding his kind nature, falls in love with him and marries him. With a lot of struggle, he succeeds in becoming a businessman. But problems do not end here. Will Thakur ever accept his son in his life? Are there more problems in their way?

Movie Reception

Sooryavansham received a strong opening due to the popularity of its Tamil version. It did an excellent work in its theatrical run. The film not only did an extraordinary work in the initial days but also maintained its stronghold in the later days at the box office. It received a mind-blasting response especially in the Bengal and metro region of the country. Also, it collected a strong earning in the overseas market which took its worldwide box office total to Rs. 13 crores.
