The much-awaited movie of Ram Charan has finally hit the theatres today. Decided to be made on a low budget, the movie exceeded the limit and is now made on a very high budget. Due to this imbalance, Ram Charan even returned some of his remuneration. This movie has received very positive reviews from the critics and audience. And Ram’s performance has been stupendous on the screen.

The movie has already sold its theatrical and music rights for around 80 Crores before the release of the movie. With this, the movie crossed pre-release business of Khaidi No. 150 by great numbers. While Ram Charan received a lot of appreciation and hence a great opening, a positive word of mouth is still needed for the movie to do great in coming time.

Fabulous Opening

The movie has opened to an excellent response. It got more than 90% advance bookings already in the theatres. And many other theatres are filling fast. Ram Charan, known as Megastar of Tollywood after his father Chiranjeevi, is one of the highest paid and super hit actors of Telugu cinema. His movies have mostly been blockbusters at the Tollywood Box Office. Here are the first day collections of his movies Magadheera, Rachcha and Naayak:

  • Magadheera (2009) – 9 Crores
  • Rachcha (2012) – 8.7 Crores

First Day Collection

Rangasthalam has received a huge start with all morning shows houseful. It has received more than 90% opening everywhere. His previous releases were either super hit or Blockbuster at the Tollywood Box Office. And considering his fan following and previous records, Rangasthalam First Day Collection is expected to be more than his Naayak.

The dragged storyline might cause hindrance in coming days. And so, only the positive word of mouth can save the movie from falling flat. No other big star movie is releasing until next 2-3 weeks, giving it a great time period to cover its budget and even make excessive profits.
