Sridevi starrer Mom released last week at the box office. The film witnessed ups and downs in its performance at the box office. Mom received positive reviews from the critics and starts its journey with a decent opening. The film was released on 1806 screens at the domestic and overseas box office. Because of the presence of great actors and also receiving positive reviews from the reviewers, the film was already creating a lot of buzz.

Total – Rs. 23.80 crores
The film has shown exceptional trending in its collections from Monday to Tuesday. After making fewer collections on Monday, usually films collect less on its subsequent days but this is not the case with Mom. The film showed positive growth from its Monday collections. Even the Wednesday and Thursday collections are coming out better than most films. In its second week, the film retains 700 screens. It will be interesting to see how the film performs in its second week facing the competition from some new releases.
The film is based on the relationship between a mother and her daughter. It revolves around the efforts the mother is making to take revenge of her daughter from her culprits. The film features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna as well. The film is directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda, Mukesh Talreja, Naresh Agarwal and Gautam Jain.
