Soon, Sushant Singh Rajput is going to fly to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), for getting prepared for his next upcoming project, Chanda Mama Door Ke. This movie is being directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and produced by Viki Rajani. It will be the first space adventure film, made by Indian directors and producers. Other than Sushant Singh Rajput, the film will also be starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R Madhavan. Chanda Mama Door Ke traces the journey of India’s space programme.
NASA is an independent agency of US federal government, which is responsible for overseeing the US space exploration and aeronautics research. Many such efforts have been led by NASA, like Apollo Moon landing missions, Space Shuttle, etc. Sushant Singh Rajput is going to be trained at this station for around 3-4 days, starting July 21.
He will be overseeing the training that individuals undergo to become an astronaut, and will himself get trained in multiple simulation programmes at NASA. He will undergo his training by wearing the spacesuit, practicing the moonwalk, experiencing zero gravity, flying space shuttle simulator, experiencing 1/6th of his weight on the earth (equivalent to that of the moon).
The actor has figuratively been on Moon, as he has been working on multiple projects scheduled for release one after the other. Recently, he was seen in the movie ‘Raabta’, with his co-star Kriti Sanon. His upcoming movie is ‘Drive’ with Jacqueline Fernandez, being produced by Karan Johar. Among his all the projects, the movie which has been much awaited is Chanda Mama Door Ke, which will be a never-seen-before kind of space odyssey movie.
The director of ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ praised Sushant Singh Rajput by saying that he is extremely dedicated and puts relentless efforts to hone his craft. Further, he adds that Sushant makes it easy to shoot the very challenging, first of its kind, space adventure movie.
Chanda Mama Door Ke will be based on a team of astronauts who will be on some mission and how that mission will bring the country together. It is scheduled to release all over the world in 2018.
