Movie Reception

1921 released at the box office with a low opening but picked up the pace with the passage of time. It managed to grow decently over the first weekend and also dropped at low-levels on the weekdays. In the second week, it held well at the box office and ensured a good amount of money in its pocket.

The third week remained poor as the film faced a competition from other releases and only managed to collect Rs. 16 crores in its lifetime. Overall, the film was a decent success and it is considered a good performance for such type of films.
