Padman made a jump on yesterday after a considerable fall on the 8th day. The film showed around 50% growth on Saturday and made an improvement in its earning. Also, Padman earned a low amount on Friday, hence the film was supposed to collect good amount on Saturday to survive at the box office and it did so. Now, it all depends on the 10th day earning to collect an excellent value over the 2nd weekend. Let’s have a look at Padman 2nd Sunday collection early estimates in details.
Mixed Trending of the film
Padman is not getting an expected response from the northern states but doing well in central India. Its collection in Delhi and Punjab is lower than the previous Akshay Kumar films but showed a remarkable improvement in cities like Mysore. The film is facing a good competition in Madhya Pradesh because of Padmaavat release in the state. Also, the new releases have affected its performance to some extent.
2nd Sunday Collection Early Estimates
Padman completed its first week with over Rs. 60 crores and took the benefit of partial holidays on the weekdays. But the stiff competition from the new releases affected the film and it showed a decline in its collection this Friday. The flop show by Aiyaary helped the film to regain its position and it recovered well on its 2nd Saturday.
Today is also a very crucial day for the film. Padman has to perform very effectively at the box office to gather good money. Padman 2nd Sunday collection is expected to show around 60-65% growth over its 2nd Friday and would earn over Rs. 8.5 crores over the 2nd weekend. This would help the film in taking its total collection over Rs. 70 crores. Since a new film is releasing on the next Friday so it is important for Padman to maintain itself on the weekdays.
