The movie Ittefaq released at the time when holdover releases were doing well and its release date also coincided with the new Hollywood movie Thor Ragnarok. Ittefaq First Week Collection Holds Well

Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Ittefaq received mixed reviews from the critics and was under suspicion about its box office performance. The movie started its journey with the low collection but witnessed growth on next two days to end its first weekend with a decent collection.

The movie is instilled with good content and hence the positive word of mouth of the audience went in favour of it. Due to this positive word of mouth, the drop on Monday was not large and hence the weekdays’ box office collection remains decent.

Thor First Week Collection Shows Positive Trending

Thor Ragnarok received positive reviews from the critics before its release and started its collection on a solid note. The movie performed well on the first weekend and earned more than its previous two parts. On the weekdays, the movie did show a major drop of 20% on Tuesday but its first week collection earns a good number. Thor Ragnarok is the third highest emerging Hollywood film of the year and presents a stiff competition for Bollywood releases.
