Krrish got positive reviews from the critics and it took one of the best openings of Hindi cinema. It not only started its journey at the box office on a solid note but also fared well on the weekdays. After performing well in the first week, Krrish also collected an excellent amount in the second week.
It didn't get affected due to the release of the Hollywood film, Superman Returns in next week. Krrish became India's popular superhero and it received a humongous response from the kids. Due to its rocksteady performance, the film collected well in the overseas too and crossed Rs. 100 crores mark in the theatres.
